It's been a long time since I have written to you but the 2008 Olympics in Beijing reminded me of you. I can only imagine how proud the Chinese people must be as this was the most amazing Olympics I have witnessed in my life. I cannot see where any country will ever be able to match what the Chinese did. The opening and closing ceremonies were awesome and the venues were first rate. You take care Alice!
I am watching the olympic games opening ceremonies! The bird nest is amazing! It was one of the most impressive shows I have ever seen. My favorite part was when the rectangles were going up and down and at the end the people came out and waved! I thought for sure that had to be robotics to get it timed so correctly. Very impressive!
